I went through five interviews total, all with leaders. Then I traveled to HQ for in-person meetings with the people I'd be working with daily. Everyone was professional and engaged, checking in on my experience and their needs for the right fit.

So, Bridge Partners' interview process kicked off with a phone screening from HR. We chatted about my background, my education, and why I'm keen on the Graduate Technical Engineer job. It was a chill conversation, the rep was nice. But then, the next day, an email said I didn't make it. I shot a quick email asking for feedback, but yeah, no reply. It was kinda disappointing not to hear back after that first chat, even though it was a good start.

They did a phone screening with me where I answered questions. Then two days later, they called me back and said they were moving on with other applicants even though I am fully qualified. It kind of felt like it was because I live across town, which is unfair because I mentioned I planned to relocate. They sent me a rejection email instead of calling. If I get a second call, I usually assume it's for an in-person interview, so this really messed up my day and my mood.

I was approached on LinkedIn by Bridge Partners Talent Management about a role that seemed like a good fit. First, there was a quick phone screen with their talent team. Then, I met with the project's director and two team members for an interview (one turned out to be a former colleague, but I didn't know that beforehand). After that, I had a very brief interview with the Client. The director then had a short chat with the client. Following that, the project director and I had a lunch meeting where the offer was informally extended, and we discussed things like start date, logistics, and salary. A formal offer letter was emailed to me later that day. I took the job and have been working on various projects with the firm since.
