It began with an HR phone screen. I inquired about the hiring process but got a vague reply. After a month of silence, I thought I was ghosted, but then got an email for a panel interview. The email implied the initial interview was recent, ignoring the long gap. The first panel had 4 people, including the CPO, who was very engaged. They asked about my qualifications and how I'd do the job. Two weeks later, I had a second panel with more BRIC staff and a partner. This interview started late because two of the three interviewers were not on time. The questions focused on how I'd collaborate with departments and partners. Some interviewers seemed to be reading from a script, which felt inauthentic. The overall vibe of this second interview was strange, and I didn't get selected for the next stage, which was fine. I'm also evaluating the company during the interview process. From the start, things felt off, suggesting organizational issues I'd rather avoid.

The interview process involves discussing your interests in the live entertainment industry. The initial phone call will cover your background, enthusiasm, and personal qualities. You'll be asked to outline your preferred role as a production intern, specifying areas like lighting, scenic, sound, or video. Your experience in that specialty will be explored next. It's crucial to mention if you're trained to work safely in potentially dangerous environments. Eligibility requires college credit.

I applied for one role but was called in for an interview for a different one. The initial screening interview seemed to go well, although it was brief. They actually invited me back for a second interview pretty quickly after the first one, which I took as a good sign. This second interview was also short, and I felt like they didn't really dig deep with their questions. They also didn't show me around the facilities at all. Honestly, it felt like they weren't very interested in me from the start. But then, in a follow-up email, they said I was still in the running. It took weeks before I noticed they had reposted the job.

Got referred by an employee. Went through a basic phone screening, then had 2 in-person interviews. The first was with 2 direct reports, and the second was with a group of 3 people who work in or with the department. The process itself was fine and went by pretty quickly, but it was really rude that I never heard anything back after 3 rounds of interviews. I'm not upset about not getting the job, but it makes me question the kind of company they are if they can't even send a quick message to let me know, especially since I spent a good amount of time on it. Seems unprofessional and lazy. I'd look somewhere else.
