First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brewster Ambulance.
EMT
The interview at Brewster ambulance service was pleasant and quick. We discussed benefits, the job description, and salary. The main issue for me was the facial hair policy, and I'm still waiting to hear back.
- What made you choose Brewster ambulance?
EMT-Basic
After you're hired, there's a full training program. The first step is a phone chat to see if you're a good fit and discuss where you'd like to work. We've got tons of bases around Boston and the south shore of MA, so there are lots of options. We also have teams ready to help you get settled into working in emergency medical services.
- Where would you prefer to work?
EMT-Basic
It was a super casual interview. They asked about my certification, my experience, and when I'm available to work. If you've got an active cert, you're pretty much golden. The whole thing from applying to getting the offer took less than three days.
- Do you hold a valid certification?
- Can you tell me about your previous experience?
- What is your availability for scheduling?
EMT-Basic
The interview process was very simple. The interviewer was really nice and relaxed, which made things much less nerve-wracking. I was asked about my interest in working with their specific service and what drove me to become an EMT.
- Why are you interested in Brewster specifically?
- What is your motivation for becoming an EMT?
