I had a long and disappointing interview process with Brewer Attorneys & Counselors. It had five rounds where I had to give work samples, do an in-person interview, and chat with different people on the team. I liked showing what I could do at first, but the process had problems. The questions weren't great and they didn't seem prepared. Most interviewers just read my resume instead of talking about my skills or how I could help the firm. I was okay with doing work samples, but it felt like a waste since there was no feedback. The worst part was the lack of communication. After spending weeks on it, they stopped giving updates. Even when I followed up, I never heard back about the outcome. For a firm like this, it’s bad that they ghost candidates. The whole thing felt messy, too long, and not professional. Brewer Attorneys & Counselors might get people with their name, but be aware that their interview process isn't respectful, efficient, or ethical.

Ghosted after 3 rounds of interviews (including an in-person meeting with 4+ people) and a 4th round invite. Was told multiple times that I was overqualified. Tried to ask for a status update to no avail. Extremely dehumanizing, unethical, and unprofessional practices. Reading the firm’s negative reviews made me feel like I dodged a bullet. The interview process was quick, fast, and efficient. They don't waste your time with countless interviews. You get one interview to come prepared. Prove that you are fit for the job, you did your research, don't come with prepared generic answers from your well-prepped recruiter. Go above and beyond to stand out. The offer process is quick, they do not waste your time. Feel free to ask as much questions as you can.

It took them a while to get back to me, so if this happens, don’t assume they’ve rejected you. Interviewed with two partners and two associates. Q&A style was more direct and blunt than most firms - they want to know that you’re intelligent and aren’t BSing your resume. Attorneys were personable but the Interview process felt extremely disorganized.
