First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Breezeway.
Client Support Manager
I got an email to set up an initial 30-minute screening with HR. After that, I talked to the hiring manager for about 30 minutes. We discussed my background and experience, and what the job actually involved. It was all pretty standard.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Account Executive
I went through 3 stages. The first was with a sales manager, then the CRO, and finally an Account Executive who was recently promoted. They ghosted me after that, even though all conversations seemed to go well. I followed up multiple times via calls and messages, but received no response. It felt like a waste of my time and frankly, disrespectful. I wouldn't recommend this company.
- Tell me about how you communicate with customers.
Customer Support Specialist
I applied for a Client Support role, which is basically what I do now, and I thought it'd be simple since I use the same tools. But it got way more complicated. First, I had six interviews. Then I gave them three references, they all got called, and I did an at-home assignment. You'd think that would be enough, but they picked someone else who they said was 'more qualified,' even though I had the exact experience. Then the recruiter sent me to another team for an 'Implementation Specialist (Spanish Speaking)' role. I went through another four interviews and a whole Zoom presentation. After talking to most of the leadership and showing my commitment through what seemed like red flags with the long process, I heard back. They chose someone else again, just saying the other candidate was 'more qualified.' Honestly, if a company can't tell if I'm a good fit after two interviews, it says more about them than me. I'm not sure I want to work for a place that makes candidates jump through hoops.
- The Vice President raised a concern that my role is multifaceted and involves various responsibilities, whereas their company separates each task into distinct positions. This means if you can do multiple things, you're seen as unqualified for any one role. Conversely, if you only have one skill, you're also not a fit because they need flexibility. Another concern was that the position might involve back-to-back Zoom calls, unlike my current role where I manage tasks via chat, email, or calls. My response was that I already interviewed with five people back-to-back on the same day for this role, so this concern should have been apparent much earlier in the process.
Sales Development Representative
The interview process was pretty chill, not scary at all like people say. It felt more like a casual chat where I got to talk about myself. I interviewed with a few people at Breezeway, and they all kept the same vibe. They really focused on how great the company culture is and how amazing it would be to work there.
- Can you tell me about your background and what experience you have?
- What are some interesting or fun facts about you?
