First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Breakthru Beverage Group.
Sales Manager
Had one round with the area manager, then another with both levels of management above them. So, two rounds total. They really wanted to know about my past management experience. Everyone was friendly, and it wasn't too tough; it felt more like a casual chat.
- What is your overall wine knowledge like?
- Can you tell me about your previous management experience?
Graphic Designer
I had a few interviews, some on the phone and some in person. It was mostly just asking and answering questions. They also went over the job details and I could ask them stuff too. I think there were 2 or 3 interviews before they made me an offer.
- Can you describe your academic background?
- What is your work experience?
- Tell me about your involvement in Greek life in college.
Account Development Specialist
I went through three interviews for this role, and honestly, they all seemed to go pretty well with a lot of good feedback. But after the third one, I just got ghosted. Never heard anything back, even after I tried to follow up. The first chat was with a recruiter, which was okay, but they didn't seem to know much about the actual job details. Then I talked to the manager, and that was fine too, though they weren't super clear on what they were looking for. The last interview was with someone who actually wasn't even at the company anymore, and yeah, still radio silence after that.
- Tell me about any obstacles you've faced and overcome in past roles.
- What experience do you have that's relevant to this position?
- Are you able to travel frequently for this job?
Sales Analyst
Shortly after applying, I received a call to schedule the first interview. I went through two rounds of interviews, and I felt they went well. The interviews focused on my resume and experience, but mostly they spent time pitching the job and its benefits to me. I was really excited and thought it was a perfect fit. After the second interview, they said they'd have a decision by the end of next week. That time has passed, the job listing is gone, and I still haven't heard anything. I get it if I didn't get the job, but a simple email saying I'm not moving forward would have been appreciated. I took time off work and rescheduled my interview for them, so the least I expect is a response.
- What is your self-rated proficiency in Excel, on a scale of 1 to 5?
- Have you had experience with Power BI?
- Have you worked with SQL?
