First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brazen Technologies.
Account Manager
The interview process was quite involved, culminating in a 20-minute presentation. Unfortunately, after delivering the presentation, I heard nothing back, even after reaching out multiple times. It took more than a month to get an automated rejection email. Given the effort I put into the presentation and how far I progressed, I was expecting a quicker, more personal response. It was really frustrating and disappointing.
- Can you describe how you would manage a challenging client request?
Customer Success Manager
The interview process lacked transparency and visibility and included several 30-minute conversations. While the interviewers were nice, some questions felt repetitive. It was hard to get updates from the recruiter because scheduling was done via automated emails with minimal context. The final presentation was cancelled by the company three hours before it was supposed to happen, and they didn't suggest rescheduling.
- What are the challenges that Brazen’s platform can address for
Director
I first spoke with an HR person, who was smart and nice. After that, I talked to the hiring manager, and then some of the team members. The last thing was a Product Marketing Proposal for their market. It took a really long time to get ready, especially since they were making us compete. I think this big project should just be a go/no-go thing for the last person in line.
- What's your approach to creating effective product messaging?
- How do you measure the success of product marketing content?
- What steps would you take to set up a process for launching new products?
Software Engineer
I had a phone screen with the recruiter first. Then there was a Tech Interview that was supposed to be 1.5 hours long. It was a group interview with the CTO and 3 other developers. I expected it to be more conversational about my past work. I got frustrated because I couldn't answer the question about future-proofing, and the meeting ended up being only 45 minutes, even though they probably expected it to take longer.
- Solve the FizzBuzz problem, and then explain how to print the output to other locations by creating a Printer interface and passing it to a method.
- How would you design the method to be future-proof?
- How can we make the method more future-proof?
