I talked to the dept head on the phone for about 30 minutes. Then I was told I'd interview with a partner later. I interviewed with a partner over Zoom for about 30 minutes. Both chats were good for asking lots of questions.

I applied online and emailed my resume to HR. About a week later, I got a call for a phone screen and then was asked to come in for an in-person interview. The whole process was pretty simple. After a second in-person interview, I got the job offer. I saw some reviews mentioning decent benefits, but I disagree. Based on Kaiser insurance for myself, it would take up almost half my monthly pay. And it's a really high-deductible plan, so it might be better to just pay out-of-pocket if needed. The low morale there also made me turn down the offer.

I applied through Craigslist and got a call a few weeks later from HR. Had an informal phone interview and then set up an in-person interview. I was interviewed by 3 attorneys at the firm and it was very informal, more like a conversation than an interview. Very pleasant.
