First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brasscraft Mfg. Company.
Manufacturing Supervisor
I applied online and had a phone interview with HR. Then I interviewed at the plant. There were long delays between each step and the recruiter didn't follow up well. I asked for feedback many times but never got it.
- Describe your leadership style.
Banker
It was a good interview process, tough but fun and challenging. Thought-provoking and intense, yet friendly and personable. They asked some difficult questions and some easier ones, but overall it was very helpful. I didn't have much time to prepare.
- Can you share an instance where you experienced failure?
Engineer
The interviews themselves were pretty good, with pleasant people and interesting questions. However, the interactions with HR were a bit rough – they were slow to respond and seemed disorganized. It wasn't the most enjoyable process overall, but the people I spoke with during the interviews definitely made it better.
- Describe a situation where you had to complete a task under a tight deadline and explain your approach.
Human Resources Manager
I had two interviews with the Masco recruiter for an HR position. We talked for a really long time, almost three hours total. The recruiter said I'd hear about next steps the following week and to let him know if anything changed on my end. I didn't hear back, so I reached out to him but got no response. Super unprofessional. A quick email would have been fine. People take time out of their day, sometimes from their jobs, and the least they can do is send a simple 'no thank you' note. Not doing that really shows a lack of professionalism and class. Glad I'm not moving forward with them. Don't buy into the hype about their culture if this is how they treat people.
