The interview process was a three round casual discussion about personal traits and what you want from Brandzooka and how you can contribute to the team. First interview was with HR, second was with head of sales and third was with abother platform associate and manager.
- What motivates your interest in a sales role?
UX Designer
The interview process was quick and easy. I got a response within a day of applying and had an interview scheduled for the next day. It started with a short video call with me and the VP of Product. After a good, open chat, they told me to expect an in-person technical interview. Since it was a design role, I had to prep and design a new solution for some problems I found with the Brandzooka platform. I showed these (and other stuff I'd ready) to the VP of Product and lead dev and then answered more questions about me. Overall, it was a great experience!
- While using the Brandzooka platform with a coupon code as a user, what were the friction points you identified?
- Prepare and design a new solution for one or more friction points you observed with the Brandzooka platform.
Platform Ambassador
First, there was a call interview where they asked general background questions, some about my past sales experience and some about my management experience. I think this was mainly to check my phone communication skills. After that, I was invited for an in-person interview. During the in-person meeting, I spoke with three different people: the CEO, the COO, and the director of sales. The questions during this meeting were more detailed about my past work, and they also threw in a few technical questions. The whole thing lasted about 45 minutes.
- Have you worked at a startup before?
- What's your approach to handling high-pressure situations?

Software Developer
Got a phone interview upfront and then right after, an in-person interview on the same day. The interview included designing a class diagram for a Monopoly game, writing a few PostgreSQL queries, and a debugging session, all within an hour. They also asked some behavioral questions about my past experience, which were pretty straightforward. Overall, it was a good interview experience and it wasn't too long.
- Could you write a PostgreSQL query that includes a join?
