First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BrandStar.
Project Coordinator
The process and communication were seamless. It was a good opportunity to discuss employment opportunities with the company. Salary was just not in alignment. Would definitely like to explore other opportunities if the salary allows.
- What are your salary expectations for this role?
Administrative Assistant
They called to reschedule my interview because the interviewer had a prior commitment. I rearranged my schedule, but after a few minutes of talking, I was told no due to lack of experience. It felt like a waste of my time and caused unnecessary stress, especially since they set up the interview without checking for experience first.
- Can you tell me about your current work experience?
Programming Coordinator
The interview process has changed over time, and varies by division. When I interviewed, I first met with the HR Director and the Programming Manager. Then, I met with the VP of Programming. Because of my situation, I let them know I needed a quick decision, and since I really wanted the job, they offered it to me right away. The questions were pretty general, focusing on work ethic and general aptitude. It was a smooth and easy process overall.
- What do you feel are your weaknesses?
Producer
The interview process was pretty chill and direct, very straightforward. I got to meet a bunch of the team members and really get a sense of what the role is about. Just be yourself and show how you can bring some creative flair to the team.
- Can you share your previous experience?
- How is your ability to conduct B2B interview/discovery calls?
- What are some personality-based questions?
