Engineer
This interview should be pretty straightforward, mainly focusing on your experience. They're going to ask you about your past jobs, the projects you've been on, what you did, the tough spots you hit, and how you helped make things better. It's less about testing what you know in theory or formulas and more about seeing what you've actually done and how you've used your skills in real life. Be ready to talk about your daily work, how you solve problems, and any improvements or cost savings you’ve been in charge of.
- What experience do you have using Autocad?
- Can you discuss your experience with engineering calculations?
Sales Representative
First, I had a phone interview with HR for a screening. Then, the hiring manager called me for a short phone interview. After that, I had an in-person interview with the hiring manager. Finally, I interviewed with a higher-level HR person.
- Describe a time you faced and overcame an obstacle, and explain how you managed it.
Operations Manager
Had a phone interview with the ES recruiter via Calendly on Monday. They asked some basic questions for the role, and said I'd move on to the next step and hear back by Wednesday. Didn't hear anything. I followed up on Wednesday and again on Friday. No response. I withdrew my candidacy the next Monday because of the unprofessional communication.
- Can you give an elevator speech about your experience?
AP Analyst
There was one initial screening call, followed by two virtual interviews and then an in-person interview. The process experienced some delays due to the holiday season. The overall duration of the interview process felt pretty standard for the current job market. I ended up declining the offer because even though the salary was good, the insurance premiums, PTO, and sick time weren't really what I was looking for over the next five years.
- Tell me about your experience and knowledge regarding specific processes you are implementing.
