Sales and Marketing
The experience was great, everything happened as it should in any professional environment. HR followed up with the appointments which is a plus. There were 3 interviews which made things challenging, and each interview having its segments made things understandable and not overwhelming. I really enjoyed the fact that there were marketing principles involved in the interview which made sense for the position I'm applying for, and each principle was explained thorough in a professional tone by the 2nd interviewer. On the 3rd interview, I was offered the position which got me really excited about this position and the company I'll be working with.
- What are your 5-year goals and how are you working towards them?
- Can you list and describe the different types of marketing?
Marketing Assistant
The hiring process was pretty cool. I found them while searching for jobs online, uploaded my resume through indeed, and received a phone call within a few days. The first interview was pretty much like a weed out session, to figure out who was qualified, serious, and able to perform the required tasks for the position. After that, I was called back for a second interview in which I met with upper management and got to ask the real questions. They told me some about the company and the position, and asked a lot about myself, my experience, and why I felt that I was qualified for this position. All in all, it was great, painless, and I ended up receiving and excepting a position!
- Who has been the most influential mentor in your business career?
Sales Associate
I was referred by someone I know at the company for the Sales Associate role. My first interview was a brief chat with the business owner, and then I was invited back for a second round. For the second round, I spent the whole day seeing firsthand how direct sales are done here. What really made me choose this company over others was the vibe of the people. I was impressed by how energetic and driven everyone seemed, and I wanted to be part of that.
- Would you be available to start immediately if given an offer?
- What motivates you and drives your success?
Marketing
The interview process started with an initial meeting with some basic questions. After that, I was invited back for a second round and was told to wear comfortable shoes. This made more sense when I found myself leaving the office to shadow someone downtown in the subway. I was then told to travel back to the office alone for the third step. At that point, I wasn't as hopeful about the job. I felt a bit deceived because I thought this job would be in the office, not out in the field for most of the day. It just wasn't for me.
- Tell me about your hobbies.
