Sales Development Representative
My interview process with Branch.io was one of the most seamless and positive experiences I’ve had. From the very first recruiter call, communication was clear, timely, and transparent. I always knew what to expect in each stage. The team was incredibly professional yet approachable, making the process feel more like a conversation. Everyone I met, from recruiters to AEs and managers, was genuinely invested in my success and in making sure the fit was right on both sides. I left each interview more excited than the last, and that energy and authenticity ultimately made my decision to accept the Senior SDR role a very easy one.
- How would you pitch Branch and how do you get up to speed on technical topics?
Sales Development Representative
This was one of the best interview processes I've been through. They made their expectations super clear from the start. There were 6 rounds, mostly covering background and business-related questions, all done via video calls. The HR team was really on top of scheduling, letting me know about next steps, and giving feedback quickly. It felt like they were really careful about who they hired, which says a lot about their culture. I got all the info I needed to prepare for each interview, they fully answered all my questions, and they gave me feedback to help me do my best and succeed at every stage.
- Can you explain your motivation for pursuing an SDR position and why you're specifically interested in Branch?
- Tell me about a situation where you experienced failure and what you learned from it.
Sales Development Representative
I received a call from a recruiter in NY who asked me many questions about my resume, my development, and what I know about the company. After that 15-minute call, she said the next step was an interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager was in Asia at the time, and I'm in Europe. The interview with the sales development manager happened 3 days after the initial call with the recruiter. The interview didn't feel genuine and wasn't a welcoming experience. I was ultimately rejected because the hiring manager said I didn't have enough experience, which they already knew. This felt like a disrespectful reason for rejection. I had questions for the hiring manager, but he cut me off when I was trying to speak, which was rude.
- Regarding offering the product to x or y company, who would you contact?
