I went through 4 rounds of interviews with the company. It started with a Recruiter Interview, then a Hiring Manager Interview. After that, there was a half-day interview with 5 stakeholders, and the final round was a product presentation with another 5 stakeholders. Everyone seemed really nice and the company is doing some great work. I was surprised I didn't get the role, especially since during my final presentation, the VP of Product was asking the Director of Engineering about implementing my solutions, which suggests they were considering them. It was disappointing to not get any feedback after asking twice, even after dedicating about 20 hours to the process.

Behavioral Technical Coding Case Presentation
This was easily one of the most thorough and stimulating interview processes I've gone through in the valley. The process was pretty streamlined - it started with a 45-minute behavioral phone screen with the hiring manager (where they asked about me, my projects, and my experience with ML & Deep Learning). Then, a week later, there was a 1-hour technical phone screen, which involved a SQL exercise or case study question requiring knowledge of common industry metrics. I got an email inviting me to the on-site 3 days after that. The on-site itself was very pleasant. I had 4 interviews: 2 with PMs, 1 with a Data Scientist, and 1 with the hiring manager. They all asked questions I hadn't encountered elsewhere. Even though about 3/4 of the questions are technical, the company really emphasizes behavioral and cultural fit. The interviewers were all very humble and open-minded and made sure I felt comfortable. I got an offer from Branch within 1 day of the on-site and accepted it.
