It was pretty straight forward. First, there was a quick phone screening where we discussed my past experience. Then, I went in for an in-person interview. During the in-person, I talked with the hiring manager, who asked basic, standard interview questions. After that, I met with the team leads I'd be working with. They asked more specific questions about the internship tasks, and I had to show them how I'd approach the problems they presented.

I was contacted to schedule a phone interview. The interviewer was running 20 minutes late for the call. The interview lasted about 20-25 minutes. During the interview, the interviewer explained the company and the role, and asked about my skills and experience. They asked if I wanted to continue, and said I'd have another phone interview with a hiring manager and local sales manager, followed by a final interview at corporate HQ if that went well. They said I'd hear back in a couple of days to schedule the next interview, but it's been two weeks. I've emailed all my contacts without a response. It's really unprofessional of BPI to say they want to continue the process and not even send a rejection email. If you're not going to move forward with an applicant, you should just say so.

I had a phone interview that led to an in-person interview. I was supposed to be there at 7:30 am and meet with 5 people. I met with 4 people for 3 hours. While waiting for the 5th person, the HR manager I spoke with on the phone wasn't available, so they sent me home. This was on November 7th. I followed up a bunch of times, first to reschedule the last interview, then just to see about next steps. I didn't hear anything back until 1/12/18, over two months later. They sent a generic form letter saying I wasn't being considered anymore. The job has been posted again several times since my interview. I'm not shocked I didn't get it; one interviewer basically said they didn't think I could do the job without automotive brake experience. I think they were wrong, but honestly, I'm fine with not getting the job. The way they handled it just seemed sloppy and a sign I dodged a bullet.

Applied online and got a call in 2 days to set up a phone interview. It was basic questions about my background, experience, and the company, lasting about 40 mins. I was also told about the job. Then I got an email for an onsite interview in McHenry IL. I thought it would be an hour, but it ended up being 2 hours 24 minutes! Four people interviewed me back to back. The first asked HR/company stuff, the next two focused on job duties and past experience, and the last one did HR and behavioral questions.
