First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brainshark.
Talent Acquisition Manager
I interviewed to meet with the executive management team, including the CEO, CFO, CTO, SVP, HR Manager, Director of Software Development, Director of Custom Engineering and Rapid Response, and Director of IT. We discussed the company's current hiring needs and how my experience and expertise would help. Everyone was very pleasant and enthusiastic, making me feel it's a place I'd want to work. They extended an offer the same day I finished the interview. It was professional and timely. I'm glad they chose me.
- Are you afraid of smart sharks? If not, this isn't the place for you, as it's called Brainshark. That's a pun.
Account Executive
Had a phone screen with the hiring VP, which was a good back-and-forth for about 30 minutes. Then they scheduled an in-person meeting where I met with the hiring VP and two other Regional VPs. I came back for a second round and met with everyone again, plus the CRO. I got a verbal offer from the hiring VP. I had to wait about a week or two for HR to give me the written offer, but overall it was a good process.
- Can you describe your personal sales process?
National Account Manager
show up, be yourself and be educated on how companies are now focusing on sales enablement, and how online/mobile ready video communications can benefit them. Also understand how companies train their salespeople. Be prepared to discuss how you sell SaaS and any successes you might have had. They are big on hiring smart people who are down to earth
- What makes you the ideal candidate for this position?
Customer Success
First, I had a phone screen with HR, and they were just collecting information about me. Then, a week later, I had a follow-up with the hiring manager. The hiring manager didn't even have my resume, and her phone connection was really bad. So, the company really dropped the ball on preparing for this.
- Can you describe your experience in Customer Success?
