Account Manager
The interview process has 4 major stages. First, you'll watch an online video with multiple-choice questions to see how well you retain information. Second, there's an online interview focused on company culture, for which you should read the handbook. Third, you'll take a maths test that's similar to the GMAT. Finally, there's an in-office practical assessment followed by two interviews. To move forward, you need to pass the practical, which involves analyzing campaign data from Google AdWords, making sense of it, and then creating graphs and explaining your strategic decisions. It would be helpful to have some background or a quick review of Google AdWords terminology before this stage. If you fit the culture and pass the previous stages, success in the practical is key.
- How do you handle stressful situations?
Account Manager
It was a really cool vibe with a friendly group of people, totally what you'd expect from a startup in Old Street. The process had two main stages. Stage one involved a presentation on a topic I chose, a brief interview, and some tests. Stage two included more interviews and exercises.
- Could you tell us why you're interested in joining us?
- What is it about this particular role that appeals to you?
- What differentiates us from our competitors in your opinion?
Account Manager
The interview process kicked off with an assessment day, similar to what's been noted before. After that, there was an online questionnaire with four questions, and then a final stage. The final stage involved an Excel task, which is pretty basic if you know Excel, so don't worry too much about it. It was followed by four quick 10-minute interviews, kind of like speed dating. I noticed the company culture is pretty cool, especially how they handle gender imbalance. But, there was this vibe, maybe from the Oxbridge folks, that felt a bit much, making me question if I wanted to work there in the end. They don't offer feedback, which is a bummer, especially for grads. Their rejection email also needs a serious update.
- What makes you stand out?
