the hiring process took a long time. I had to go through 3 interviews for an entry level tech position. It feels like a lot of time for an entry level spot.

Found the job posting on Indeed. Applied and then had an automatic phone screening. After that, I was called by a live hiring member and had a second screening. I then waited for a call back to come in for an interview. The interview process was long, but the HR department was very patient and made it easy to complete.

I applied online in May of 2023 via Indeed. A recruiter got in touch in late June. We set up a phone screening with the hiring manager in July, which involved basic questions. I was told the next step was another virtual interview with the team. A week later, I got a call about a different position on the same team. I turned down the first role because the second one seemed like a better fit. The second role wasn't posted anywhere and had no description, just a general idea of what they were looking for. I had another phone screening with the same hiring manager for this second role, asking similar questions as the first interview. It seemed the next step was an interview with the team. The recruiter then asked me to complete a soft skills assessment, which neither of the people I spoke with had mentioned. I finished the assessment. A week after that, I contacted the recruiter but got no response. I didn't hear back from the company after that.
