It was an easy interview. The manager was direct about what they expected. I liked that I could ask questions about potential for promotion. They mentioned cross-training but didn't go into enough detail. They should talk about schedules during the interview. BPL pretty much requires you to have open availability and doesn't explain that even though they close at a certain time, employees have to stay later so donors can finish.

After you apply, a center manager will give you a call. They'll then schedule a one on one interview with you in their office. It could take up to two weeks to hear back with a decision. If you don't hear back after a week and a half to two weeks, it's okay to stop by the center when it's not busy and introduce yourself.

I did an online assessment that took about 2.5 hours. The company intro was clear and gave a good overview. The team exercises were fair, though a bit tricky to do online. They said they'd be in touch that afternoon or by Monday morning at the latest, but they weren't, which made it hard to prepare for the next stage happening on Tuesday. I tried calling but only got the switchboard, and my emails to the contacts weren't answered.

A recruiter reached out to me about a local job. After they sent my resume, the recruiter called to say the client wanted to meet right away. The interview location was easy to get to. Upon arrival, the receptionist was nice and got the interviewer. I didn't wait long before being taken to an office for what felt like a pretty straightforward interview. The interviewer was mindful of the clock, answered my questions, and seemed genuinely interested in my background. When we finished, she mentioned she'd update the recruiter. The recruiter called me later that day to let me know the client chose someone else.
