First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BPI - Business Performance Institute.
Learning Analyst
The whole process took just under 2 months. After an initial meeting at a university event, I took a GMAT-like test plus an essay. After passing the test, I had the following interviews: HR interview (with a Business Case), Analyst interview (with a Business Case), and Project Manager interview (with a Business Case). The next interview was supposed to be with a Partner. Everyone I met during the selection process was very nice and helpful and always gave feedback after each interview.

Consultant
I put in my application online and heard back pretty fast through email for a first interview on Skype with HR. It was a really nice chat because usually HR people are super robotic and cold, but this person wasn't. They asked some questions that weren't on the usual checklist, which was tough but also fun. Then, I had a Skype interview with a Consultant from Turin where we went over a case study and chatted personally for a bit. This same thing happened again with another Consultant, this time from London. After that, my final interview was with a Partner, also on Skype, with the same format. The whole thing took about 2 months. Before they made an offer, they invited me to one of their internal training/social days that they hold every 2-3 days. It was awesome getting to meet the whole team and have quick chats with everyone during breaks. I even participated in group activities during the content sessions like I was already part of the company, which made me feel like they were being totally transparent. The only downside is that it took them another 2-3 months to give me a final offer, which I think was because new projects were delayed. It was a really great experience overall though.
- Can you describe a difficult situation you handled effectively and explain your reasoning?
- What key takeaways did you get from your most recent employment?
Communications Specialist
I had a Skype call with HR. On the same day, they asked if I could meet the Managing Director in Turin the next day, but I also had the option for another Skype call. After the in-person meeting, I had Skype calls with the other 2 partners the week after. Three days later, I received an offer. The process was very efficient and fast. I felt the interviewers were clear about what they wanted in the role but also receptive to new ideas.
- What is your background and experience?
- Could you do a small exercise?
Learning Consultant
The interview process consisted of typical case studies, some drawn from their previous work. Fit interviews were also part of each round. The first round involved HR and also included a case study, which was standard for consulting interviews and interviewer-led. Feedback was provided after each interview round.
