HR asked me about my background and if my skillset matched what they were looking for. They also talked about the great culture. I got an email two weeks later saying they were pulling the position.

After filling out an on-line application and submitting my acceptable pay range, I was contacted for an interview. They asked me about my requirements and I made sure to specify my pay range of $18 to $22 an hour VERY clearly. They then offered me $9 an hour, which was a huge disappointment considering they knew my requirements. They even acknowledged seeing my wage requirements but hoped their offer would be acceptable. This seems unrealistic given they are looking for highly skilled employees and offering close to minimum wage. I declined to proceed due to the pay discrepancy. I was interviewed by two department supervisors/managers who were friendly.
