I talked with someone who does the job now and the manager for the place. They were both really nice and explained how their location worked. They really stressed that everyone there communicates openly and well, across all the staff and departments.

So after you apply, your profile gets looked at by a couple departments and different staff to make sure you're a good fit. Then you'll get a link for a HireVue, which is like a video interview asking basic stuff about the job and the company to see if we're on the same page. If that goes well, a hiring manager will pick you if they need to hire someone. They'll then call or text or email you for a phone or in-person interview. After that, they'll send you a summary of the job, and you'll let them know if you're still interested. Then, you either get a form to do the next steps like background checks, or you're out (for legal reasons - can't reach you, don't qualify, bad interview, etc.). The whole thing takes about 2-3 weeks with all the checks and stuff. We have orientation every two weeks on Mondays.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Can you describe a challenging situation you faced and how you dealt with it?
  • What motivates you to work for the Bowen Center?
  • The organization has a strict policy against discrimination. (This is a statement, not a question, but I've kept it as a direct quote as requested.)

The process was really fast. I submitted an online application and got an email the next day asking me to do a virtual interview. Then, two days later, they set up a phone interview. It was a FaceTime call with two interviewers who asked questions one after another. We talked about the job duties, the pay, which was $14.50/hour and seemed a bit low for the work involved, and also about PTO and benefits.

The interview process was easy and engaging. It mainly consisted of 'get to know you' questions and some scenario-based questions. The scenario questions focused on how I connect with people, my impact on patients, and my career development. After the interview, I was offered the position. The subsequent onboarding took about 3 weeks, involving filling out necessary documents and getting scheduled for orientation.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Describe how you connect with others, including co-workers, patients, and friends.
