First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Boundless.
Business Development Coordinator
I first met the Boundless recruiting team at my college's career fair. Shortly after, I got a 20-minute call with HR to learn about the role and the company, and I asked them questions. Then, I had 48 hours to do a written and oral assignment. After that, I had a 30-minute video chat with a senior person, and then an in-office interview. I got an offer after the final one. It was a good experience, fast and covered everything.
- How coachable are you?
- Are you a team player?
- Do you have a strong desire to learn?
Project Manager
This was one of the worst interview experiences ever, leaving a bad impression. The interview got rescheduled twice, which was fine. The interviewer was a few minutes late to the Zoom call and didn't apologize, which was a bit unprofessional but okay. They also mispronounced my name and called me by a different name, which was understandable, but these things started to pile up. The worst part was that another candidate was being interviewed at the same time. We were asked the same questions and answered one after another. We weren't told beforehand about this interview format. I get that they might have been rushed before Thanksgiving, but not giving us any notice was highly unprofessional. Also, we had applied for different job titles (Marketing Assistant vs. Junior Project Manager), and this difference was never discussed. It seems like Boundless might have posted the same role under different titles on job boards. Additionally, there was no time at the end to ask my questions. After the interview, I received an email saying I was a no-show, which was an error. So, be careful if you're applying; this process doesn't suggest a company that values its employees or candidates.
- Tell me about your greatest strength and what drives you, and what you enjoy doing in your free time?
- What is your biggest strength? What motivates you? What do you do for fun?
Account Executive
The interview process was pretty straightforward because my previous company merged with Boundless Network. The main thing I had to handle was a non-compete agreement that I needed to review carefully. It essentially stated that clients I had before joining Boundless were mine, but clients I brought in while working at Boundless were theirs to keep if I decided to leave. This non-compete would be effective for one year if I were to depart. Regarding non-competes, this seems pretty standard.

Data Analytics Engineer
The interview process was pretty straight forward. Started with a phone screen with hiring manager. Then, an in person interview with associated leadership. Roughly, 3 conversations. Finally, an in person with conversation with the CEO and HR manager followed by a skills assessment with a member of the development team.
