I had a hiring manager round where we went deep into my background, my technical abilities, and what I've done on past projects. The manager also wanted to see how I approach problems, how I communicate, and if I'm a good fit for what the team is looking for.

I applied a couple years back but didn't get it. Then, I had a phone interview and a virtual interview with executives via GoToMeeting. I was their second choice and would have been hired if they were hiring more than one. The hiring team kept in touch and reached out again this summer. I interviewed again and got an offer. I didn't take it because I decided not to move to Boulder due to my husband's job, but it was a great experience. It took a bit since an interior designer was traveling, but I always knew where I stood. Even though I didn't take the job, I'm open to future opportunities. They treated me very well.

When I interviewed for BA, the team seemed really invested in me as a person. They asked questions that were mostly related to the job, but they also asked about my self-care practices, which I found to be a unique and positive aspect. Their process is well-organized, and they kept me informed at every stage, so I always knew what to anticipate. I had interviews both in person and over MS Teams. It's clear they prioritize employee well-being.

  • What's your approach when you're told you've made a mistake at work?
  • How do you approach self-care?
