Java Developer
First round was a technical interview. They asked me to introduce myself and talk about my roles and responsibilities in my current project. Then, there were basic questions covering core Java, collections, and the basics of Spring and Spring Boot. There was also a coding question. Some questions were related to Hibernate and Spring Data JPA.
- Can you explain the difference between HashMap and HashTable?

I had a phone chat with the customer service director where we talked about my visa status and shift rotation availability. Then, in April 2013, I had an onsite interview with the trade support director and the customer service director.
- Tell me about your past experience and projects.

The interview process consisted of one round with three different shift managers from the department. The goal wasn't to test my knowledge but to assess my fit within the department, as it's a demanding workplace and not everyone is a good fit.
