The interviews were all lovely, I was very impressed with the staff, their professionalism, and their commitment to their patients. What was infuriating about the process was that they asked for references, my references filled them out, the person hiring said they wanted to hire me... then after more than a week I was told that they had really liked me and another candidate and had asked for my references so that they could give hire me right away if their first choice declined. Next time please be prepared to make an offer instead of wasting references's time.

I applied in early September and was told to email my resume to the supervisor. About a week later, I had a phone interview with the supervisor where we mostly just went over my resume. Then I had an in-person interview about a week and a half after that. It was mostly standard HR questions that you can find online, but it was with four people, which would have been nice to know beforehand. About three weeks later, I had another in-person interview to meet someone else in the office. It was only 15 minutes, and since I lived an hour away, it was annoying, especially since they didn't offer to cover parking. After that, I had to submit four references and a writing sample, and they said they'd decide in a week. They contacted my references, and two weeks passed. I followed up and was told they'd be in touch if they wanted to move forward. Another two weeks passed, and I got an email asking if I was still interested. Then I had to re-submit all my previous materials online through HR, and they said it would take time to review. Two more weeks passed with no word, so I contacted them again, only to find out they had already hired someone. The interviews were easy, but it's rude to contact references and make me do all this work, then not even tell me I'm not being considered. This specific department's process was extremely disorganized.

I went through three rounds of interviews with people at different levels. They gave a good explanation of the job responsibilities before asking about my experience. The HR team was very supportive and described the benefits.
