First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Boston Heart Diagnostics.
Analyst
I went through 3 interviews: first with a recruiter from the parent company, then with the hiring manager/director, and finally with a director from a different department. The questions were pretty standard, focusing on typical behavioral situations and asking about my past experiences. Each interview was scheduled about one to two weeks apart. I had to reach out to the recruiter to get updates on the process, but communication was good overall.
- Can you provide a high-level overview of the patient journey, from a doctor's visit through to the delivery of results?
- Considering your past experiences and roles, what qualities do you possess that make you a strong candidate for this position?
Laboratory Technician
It was just one interview round. It's easy if you have prior experience, but tough for new grads or those without any. But don't stress, their employee turnover is super high, so you're pretty much guaranteed a job. It's a casual place, so don't worry about formal presentations.
- Can you elaborate on your technical experience with electrophoresis?
- Are you familiar with GC/MS techniques?
Logistics Analyst
I talked with HR first. She asked me about myself and my past work. She shared what she knew about the job and the company. Then I had a good, long talk with my potential manager. Since this was a new position, he told me about his ideas for it and how I could help make them happen.
- I was told I was the first person interviewed, which made it hard to know what they were looking for.
- I felt like a test subject, but it wasn't unfair.
Customer Care Representative
I had an initial chat with HR which was pretty basic. After that, two people from the customer care team walked me through the different parts of customer care and what each one does. This was super helpful and made sure there were no surprises when I started working.
