First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Boston Digital.
Account Director
The interview process was pretty standard. I met with a few people and had 2 rounds of interviews which were pretty standard. I was asked about what I’d do in certain client situations and scenarios.
- What actions would you take if a client expressed dissatisfaction?
- How would you effectively communicate client feedback?
Director of Technology
The interview process was really welcoming. From the moment I stepped into their offices I already felt like part of the team. They were definitely curious of my technical ability but at the same time it was obvious that they wanted to make sure you were contributing positively to the culture. And after working there for a long time I can honestly say that some of the best people I have worked with in my career work at Boston Digital.
- Which languages do you prefer to work in, and can you explain why?
- Regarding CMS platforms, which do you prefer, and what's your reasoning?
UX Designer
The interview process involved one phone interview and two onsite interviews, all completed within three weeks. Despite a lowball offer, which was significantly lower than market rates found in another similar role, the company rescinded the offer during onboarding. After a two-week silence, they contacted me to state their CEO had chosen someone else for the position.
- What led you to discover our company, and what motivates your desire to pursue a career as a UX designer?
- Could you please present your portfolio and walk us through your previous projects?
- We'd like to have a conversation about your work.
SEO Analytics Specialist
So after a couple of phone screenings, I came into the office for two interviews. First, I met with the manager/director of the department, and then I spoke with the marketing manager. The last interview was with the general manager. Both interviews were basically Q&A sessions where they asked about my past jobs and how I'd be a good fit. After they asked me stuff about my background, I got to ask them questions about the job. That really helped me get a good handle on the role and what they expect.
- What's your motivation for seeking employment with us?
- How can your skills and experience benefit this position?
- Can you describe your past work experiences and how they align with the requirements of this role?
