Email Marketing Coordinator
So I applied and then I had a phone chat with the HR coordinator. They were really nice, it was a pretty standard HR screening chat. After that, they told me the next step would be talking with the hiring manager.
- Can you list the automation tools you're familiar with?
Events Manager
I only had one virtual interview, which was great because I spoke straight with the hiring manager instead of just an HR person. I didn't get to the next stage, but I was informed that the following steps would have involved speaking with other team members.
- Can you tell me about your background?
- What is your relevant experience?
- How does your experience align with the requirements of this role?
Retail and Marketing Intern
I sent in my resume and heard back a month or two later. I don't have much retail experience, but I do have marketing experience. They called me for an interview and asked if I knew how to use a cash register. I didn't, but I told them I was eager to learn and interested in retail. I've helped out at the boutique at the Boston Opera House before with no issues. They said I'd hear back in a week, but I didn't. After I followed up, they told me a month later I didn't get the internship.
- Have you ever operated a cash register before?
Intern
I applied online and got an email to interview very soon after. I set up an interview through email and went in to meet with two BB employees. The interview was pretty generic, pretty easy going people. I talked about dance experience so this probably helped me. Extremely nice facilities, very calm and quiet as it is at a ballet. Very nice people.
- Tell me about a time you were on a team and the goal wasn't met, or things didn't go as planned. What did you learn from it?
