The interview location seemed a bit dodgy since it was in a pest control building and their website was always down. I went anyway. The first interview was okay, the hiring director talked about my background and then pitched the company. I got invited back for a second interview the next day on site. I was supposed to "shadow" someone, but I quickly realized they were making me do actual work for free. They weren't having me just watch, they had me doing the tasks of the employees like I was one of them. Ultimately, I decided the place was too weird and I passed.

I had two interviews set up for the day I went to interview at Boss Enterprise, but I had to cancel my second interview because they were running late. My appointment was at 12:15 and I didn’t get interviewed until 1. The interview was pretty easy but felt really rushed as they still had people to interview after me. They interviewed 2 people at a time which made me feel like I was competing against the person with me and was slightly uncomfortable. I’ve been in group interviews before but just 2 people at a time makes it seem more competitive and slightly more stressful. They were really nice and apologetic for running late, but my experience threw me off a bit and just didn’t feel like it was a good fit.

Behavioral Group Presentation

The interview process was super quick. First, there was a quick screening call with the hiring manager, lasting about 10-15 minutes. Then, I had an observation day which was pretty cool. They showed me what they look for in entry-level hires for event-based campaigns and I got to shadow a team leader to see how they interact with customers. It wasn't too tough. The third round was the real challenge, where you really have to prove yourself because it seems like they interview tons of people.

The first step was in person, about 20 minutes long. We reviewed my resume and discussed why I thought I'd be a good fit. It was straightforward. The interviewer was intense and talked a lot. A few hours later, I got a call confirming a second round for the next day. This second round involved a day on the job with a team member, trying to sell the product outdoors in the cold. Afterward, we returned to the office for the third and final round. This round felt rushed, like they wanted me, but I needed to decide if I wanted them.
