It was a pretty simple process. First, I had a phone screen with HR. Then, I had a video interview with the hiring manager. Finally, I had an on-site follow-up interview. The manager interview was tough, basically a vehicle dynamics quiz with a lot of follow-up questions asking 'why' and making me doubt myself. I made it to the final round, but didn't get an offer because they thought I didn't have enough experience for the senior role and needed someone right away.

I applied online and heard back about a month later. Then I had an HR phone screen, followed by a talk with the manager a week later, and then the full team a week after that. A whole month went by with no word until I chased them up myself and got a one-sentence rejection with no explanation. They even contacted my employer without asking me first. The questions were really weird, and it was pretty shocking to hear nothing until I had to reach out. Super unprofessional all around. Considering the whole process took 11.5 weeks and they barely communicated, I wouldn't bother applying again.

I went to a career fair at university and spoke with a recruiter who told me I'd be recommended if I applied online. I did apply online and was scheduled for a phone interview that was under 30 minutes with a technical manager. They asked me questions about my resume and a few technical questions related to my resume. After that, I was invited for an onsite interview which lasted about 45 minutes with the same tech manager and the lead software engineer. We went over my resume again in a lot of detail and I answered some semi-technical questions about my past experience and classes. We also had a good conversation about the field I was applying for. I got the offer shortly after. The whole thing took about 2 weeks and I accepted the offer. It was a really smooth process with nice people.
