The interview process consisted of a single round. They asked about why boral, why choose this specific position, what you can bring to the table, and then past experiences from your resumes and activities.
- Can you explain your interest in Boral?
- What motivated your decision to apply for this particular role?
- What unique skills or contributions do you offer this position?
Research Scientist
Applied via Indeed, got an email reply in two weeks and scheduled a phone interview right away. The phone interview was with R&D directors and covered my experience and skills, and they asked me questions about my knowledge and attitude. Then, I had an onsite interview with the entire R&D group. This involved a presentation of my experience, a site tour, and one-on-one chats with the CTO, R&D director, and other scientists.
- What makes you a strong candidate for this position?
Purchasing Agent
I went through one phone screen with the Hiring Manager and then an on-site interview with the Hiring Manager. An outside recruiter helped move things along. The HR team was nice but a bit disorganized.
- How do you prefer to negotiate?
Sales Associate
Got a call from a recruiter, then talked to the sales manager. Ended up getting hired without ever having a face-to-face interview, which was pretty weird.
