It was a standard interview process. First, I had a phone interview with the Recruiter, which was a quick 15-minute call about my experience with Salesforce/Gainsight, past duties, and why I left my last job. I asked about daily tasks and expectations, and she had to check her notes. Then, I had a 45-minute phone interview with the Team Lead. It was really engaging and gave me a great feel for the company and the Customer Success department. He said he was impressed and offered me an in-person interview right away. The in-person interview was also a great experience. The office is amazing and it's clear people love working there. It included an office tour, an hour-long interview with the Manager and Team Lead, and a 30-minute culture interview with three other employees. The interview with the Manager and Team Lead felt good and informative. However, I think I messed up the culture part. They said it would be informal and they'd ask about me, but they had no questions. It seemed like I was supposed to ask all the questions about the culture or things I was hesitant to ask before. We ended up picking questions from a bucket and talking about TV shows, which didn't really show who I am or relate to the job. I was so annoyed with myself for not being more prepared. I was told I'd hear back within a week, but I had to email the Team Lead the following Friday to find out I didn't get the job from the Recruiter, which was disappointing. Overall though, it was a positive experience and I'd love to apply again because BoomTown's culture is special.

So I applied through LinkedIn and a recruiter hit me up about a phone interview which was about a week out. I was like 'phone interview' and they got back to me in like 24 hours and we set up another one. They were both pretty similar, basically asking about my experience, projects I'd done, and weaknesses. After the second phone interview, they emailed me in a few days to set up an onsite and culture interview at their Charleston spot. The whole thing was pretty quick, maybe just under 2 weeks? I didn't get the job, which was a bummer, but it's hard to be mad. This whole interview was super unique and made me feel good about myself. BoomTown is doing something right, you know? It makes you want to try harder to get a job there, and I definitely do.

Got an email to schedule a first phone chat with the Talent Recruiter. Had two phone interviews after that, one with the Talent Recruiter and another with the Hiring Manager. Then, got invited for an onsite interview which included meeting three team members and having a culture interview with three people from different departments. The onsite interview lasted about two hours, which might sound long, but it's to replace multiple separate onsite interviews. During the onsite, the team interview was 45 minutes, followed by a writing exercise, and then the culture interview. The culture interview is really important to BoomTown because they care a lot about keeping the company vibe the same. All in all, it was a good experience!
