Product Management Director
It was a pretty straightforward process. They were looking at my past experience and how I'd fit into their org structure. The initial questions were easy. I decided to leave the running because the role wasn't senior enough and didn't seem to have the right opportunities. Also, the pay and stock options felt a bit low compared to what's out there.
- Tell me about a time you influenced stakeholders to make changes.
Technical Product Manager
Overall super smooth interview process. The recruiter shared how to prepare for each round and the feedback after each interview round. 1-Recruiter Call 2-Hiring Manager Interview 3-Craft Interview I 4-Craft Interview II 5-Fit interview All the interviews are free-fall conversations and more like conversational where you build the conversation with interviewers. I have used the STAR framework to answer all the questions they raised and started building from it. extra tip. for both Craft Interviews, have your own stories mapped to stakeholder management, strategy, roadmapping. And also in the Fit interview, it is expected to get more product-related questions. Good Luck :)
- How do you prioritize features and initiatives on a product roadmap, taking into account potential risks and dependencies?
- How do you ensure Sprint Planning meetings are effective in your product development process?
- How do you define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the health and performance of your product?
Product Manager
The recruiter was really amazing and took care of the experience. I met the hiring manager and it went smoothly too. Then, two more rounds were scheduled. The first was for product strategy and customer success, and the second was for stakeholder management and execution. The first of those two rounds was great where the interviewers asked specific questions. The second one was a bit vague and I wasn't sure what they were looking for, felt like a waste of time since they were pretty much expecting answers of how they work.
- Tell me about a time you managed a conflict of priorities.
- How did you execute this project?
- What was your role in this project?
