Talent Acquisition Recruiter
I applied when the company was still stealth mode as TG-17. It's been almost two years, and I'm only now writing this review because I found the company again. The interview process was truly awful, and it's definitely set my expectations for any future interviews. First, there was a 30-minute HR phone screen with one local team member. Then, a 45-minute HR video screen with two non-local team members. After that, three separate 45-minute video interviews with the Head of Marketing, Product, and a Strategic Advisor. One of those was canceled last minute because they decided it wasn't needed anymore. Finally, a 60-minute on-site interview was scheduled with the CEO/Founder. It was a terrible experience for a bunch of reasons. They kept changing or canceling interviews without much warning, so the whole thing took almost two months. I usually had to reach out myself to get any feedback or decisions after talking to someone. They couldn't share much about the company, and many interviewers couldn't even answer basic questions like 'What's the culture like?' or 'What are the recruitment goals?'. Some interviewers seemed really uninterested, asking random questions like 'How did you like attending XYZ college?' instead of focusing on the role or my experience. My final on-site interview, which was supposed to be 60 minutes, started late and ended in less than 20 minutes. I was hoping for a good conversation about the job and the company, but it turned into a condescending discussion where I was interrupted a lot. I couldn't even ask my closing questions because they said meetings end at :15 and :45. The team said they were a 'revolutionary service for health and well-being,' and I was curious about the company's origins. But the worst part was hearing the leaders say they 'didn't care about what the product did, only that it would be successful and profitable.' The only positive was the Marketing team member I spoke with, who was thoughtful and inspiring, which is why I stuck around.
- Do you have any questions for me?
- Can you describe your comprehensive process for hiring for a new role?
- How would you suggest we describe this organization in a job posting?
Human Resources
The whole interview thing was super fast and just right for a candidate. Everyone was great at telling me about Bond from where they work. They asked different stuff in each interview. Took about a week total. First was HR, then VP of Ops, then the CEO.
- Could you explain your recruitment strategy and any specific sourcing techniques you employ?
- Can you detail your experience with MS Excel?
- Recount an instance where you had to assert a different viewpoint or resist a particular direction.
Program Manager
The interview process was fast and comprehensive. I went through 2 video interviews and then 1 in-person interview. I talked with the VP of the department, HR, and the CEO. They gave me the job offer just a few hours after the in-person interview on the same day.
- Describe a situation where you had a disagreement with your manager about a project and explain how you dealt with it.
Customer Agent
It was fine, though a bit lengthy due to the test. They answered all my questions afterward, which was good. The interview was conducted via video, which is acceptable, but I would have preferred an in-person meeting.
- Could you tell me about your availability?
