First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bonaventure Senior Living.
Executive Director
This company's interview process confirmed my earlier findings. They seem solely focused on financial metrics. All inquiries revolved around money, marketing initiatives, and increasing the resident census. There was no mention of the residents themselves. The interviewer appeared irritated when I had questions at the end, creating an overall negative atmosphere.
- What are your strategies for marketing and increasing census growth?
- Can you discuss your experience with financial management and revenue generation?
- How do you approach market penetration and competitive analysis in the healthcare sector?
Executive Director
It was a pretty smooth process with Afra. She was very professional. We had situational questions and I got a good chance to see the building. It was nice meeting leadership. The offer was smooth. I should have counter offered though. They asked about my experience in Senior Living.
- What motivates you to consider changing jobs?
Executive Director
I applied to Bonaventure online at the end of June and got a call back within two hours. First, I had a 25-minute phone interview, then a second hour-long phone interview the next morning. After that, I had a really unpleasant Skype interview with someone who was extremely rude. Despite that, they emailed me two days later to arrange a face-to-face interview at my state. I had to reschedule the first time because they pushed it to the next day. They then rescheduled it again for that afternoon. I waited 45 minutes for the interview to start, and then interviewed with two more people. The 'big boss' said he was recommending me and that I should get an offer in two days. However, the rude lady from the third interview decided she wanted to interview more people. After another week, they emailed to say they were going in a different direction. It was a really disorganized mess with five interviews and ultimately a waste of time.
- The questions weren't difficult, but there were rude comments and a bad attitude from the third interviewer, which was very unprofessional.
- Could you provide detailed information about any technical questions or business case scenarios you encountered?
