It was a pretty standard interview, lasting about an hour with two of my supervisors. They seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me. They were also really accommodating and flexible regarding scheduling around my availability.

I applied and had a quick phone interview. The recruiter and I had a nice chat, and I was told I'd hear back in two weeks since I was an early applicant. After 2.5 weeks, I followed up and was informed they were still interviewing and would be in touch once they finished. I noticed the job kept getting reposted. I think they post ghost positions. A month and a half later, after getting another offer, the recruiter finally told me they chose other candidates, calling it a 'difficult decision' because they 'really enjoyed talking with me'. The next day, the job was reposted again. I wouldn't recommend applying to this company. They post fake jobs to gauge the market and never intend to hire. Just avoid them.

I got past the recruiter interview and then went to Mankato to meet the hiring manager and another person from their creative space. This place is over an hour south of Minneapolis. The office is in the basement of what appears to be the only office building in tiny Mankato, MN. The interview was in a windowless conference room out back. It was super hot in there. The other stakeholder was on video call from South Carolina. So, pretty unusual. It was a nice chat overall, but I had this gut feeling the stakeholder on video was trying to get me to fail the whole time. Still, it was a good experience.

After applying, we emailed back and forth to set up a time to chat on Microsoft MEETS. I joined the meeting and we started the interview. The person I spoke with was really nice and easy to chat with.
