First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bolton & Company.
Client Analyst
It was a panel interview with management and HR that lasted about forty-five minutes. Each person on the panel asked a couple of questions. No salary expectations were discussed; it was just the one interview.
- What are your long-term career aspirations with this role?
Account Assistant
The interview process was really short, only about 15 minutes. There were two interviewers, and they took turns asking standard interview questions. One of the interviewers, who was a manager, wasn't very professional. She made a comment about a previous interviewer's response and put that person down, which really says a lot about her. I wouldn't want to work for someone who judges others or belittles their dreams or goals. It was disappointing because Bolton & Company is known as a reputable company. This interviewer didn't represent the company well at all; it was quite embarrassing.
- They were all typical interview questions. Google 'the most common asked interview questions' and this is what they will ask you. Not too authentic.
Human Resources Generalist
The interview process started with an external recruiter, then an internal recruiter and a personality test. The next round was with the internal recruiter and hiring manager. The final round involved the internal recruiter, hiring manager, and two other team members. Despite completing four rounds over a month and discussing offers, I never heard back about the next steps, which was unprofessional.
- Can you tell me about your previous HR experience?
Operations
It was a three step process. HR screening call. HR sent a personality test. Brought in for interview with hiring manager. Given verbal offer & offer in writing within a week!
- How do you handle challenging individuals?
