HR round first, talked about my experience and the job. Then, a technical screen started with basic questions about how web requests function, going into a lot of detail. They also asked about data structure implementations and application testing. The second part was a Leetcode medium problem. The testing was a bit weird because you couldn't see the test cases, only the results, making debugging feel blind. Honestly, it felt like too much focus was on edge cases rather than the core logic.

The process was quite fast. They were looking for someone with impeccable management skills and high expectations, always focused on achieving goals and improving communication between different work areas. I didn't get it because of my limited experience, but the interview itself was flawless.

I was contacted by bolt’s recruiter and had one initial call. Then there was a really long home task with questions they seemed to want to steal. After that, I had two interviews where they kept getting free consulting and writing down ideas instead of getting to know me. It seemed like they weren't sure how to answer their own questions. Like others have said, after all the effort on the home task and interviews, they just ghosted me without feedback. Their attitude changed completely before and after the brainstorming, making me think they just wanted to steal ideas. It felt like the process wasn't genuine.

The interviewers were nice. There were 4 rounds of interviews. First, a 30-minute chat with HR. Then, a coding test on HackerRank, which was easy. They use SQL and Python. Next, a 1-hour statistical and business case interview, not too hard but you need basic business metric knowledge. Finally, another 1-hour business case interview that really requires business understanding, which should be easy for someone with the right background. Overall, it was a really pleasant experience. Just make sure you apply for the right seniority level.
