The interview process felt a bit long. I find that the steps tend to get longer over time, and it's the same in all companies now. You sometimes have 4 or 5 interviews (phone, then in-person), which is tiring, especially since at some point, we end up going in circles with the questions.

We often forget as we get more experienced, but it's super important to prep for your job interview. Some say over-preparing kills spontaneity, but I'd argue the more prepped you are, the more spontaneous you can be! So, before you meet with the company you're applying to, you really need to know their business, understand the job you're going for inside out, and be able to explain why you're applying there and not somewhere else. Another crucial thing is to research your interviewer and what they're into. LinkedIn or Viadeo profiles are goldmines for this. If you happen to share a passion or common ground with your interviewer, definitely weave that into the conversation. People need to connect and share values, that feeling is key.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • What is your motivation and how does it fit with the company's policies?
