The interview process was super chill, only took about 20 minutes. They hit me with all the standard interview questions. All in all, it was a good experience and a great interview.
- Can you share a bit about yourself?
Operations Manager
There were a few interviews with hypothetical scenarios and getting to know you. Also, a few hours on the job evaluation before you are hired. Overall if you know the industry and are a good worker it shouldn’t be too hard.
- Can you describe your leadership style?
- What is your approach to leadership?
- How would you handle challenging hypothetical scenarios?

They ask you a lot of questions, mainly about your personality and work style rather than your past jobs. They were okay with this being my first job, as long as your character aligns with their brand. There were two interviews, each with a different manager.
- What does hospitality mean to you?
- Are you more comfortable working by yourself or with a group?
Operating Partner
I got hired because I had experience at a separate concept that is connected with Bolay. The interview process is questions based on your personal and professional growth. Your strengths, weaknesses and your goals.
- What motivates your interest in joining Bolay?
