The interview process starts with a two-hour group information session. After that, there are individual interviews, usually with 2-3 managers or senior staff members and one HR representative. It's not overly demanding; they typically ask standard interview questions.

I applied online and was told I was being considered for an interview. I got an email explaining what to expect during the interview process. It was a single stage interview. I was told it was for a new graduate scheme that hadn't been done for this role before. They pulled questions from different roles within their teams and had a second person join the interview. I was asked questions that haven't come up in any of my other interviews for this role, though this was the first graduate role I'd interviewed for. I left this interview feeling like I knew nothing about the industry or the field. The questions were what you'd expect for a CSIRT or CSM role.

It was pretty simple. You need to show you're enthusiastic and know about the company and our service level agreements. Make sure to show your passion for customer service and have some examples ready. They'll also ask competency questions and give you hypothetical situations, so get ready for that by using the STAR method.

The process kicked off with a quick phone call that led to an invitation to an Assessment Centre, also known as an Engagement Day. After some initial chats, candidates are split into small groups based on the role they applied for. Everyone participates in a group exercise where you have to build a toy model Lego remote-controlled car and navigate it through an obstacle course. The assessors observe how groups choose a model, how they collaborate during the build, and how they decide who will drive. After that, there's an interview with one or two senior leaders, and then you present on your 'Favourite Uni Module'.
