I started with a call to a recruiter, then had a phone chat with the hiring manager. After that, I went for an onsite visit which included a tour and meeting 3-4 team members. They really focused on if I'd fit in with the team during the in-person interviews.

I was contacted by a recruiter about an opening in their management development program and was really excited because the interview process sounded really cool. I went through 3 interview stages and 2 assessments: first a recruiter call, then I spoke with a market research manager, and finally I had 4 interviews with VPs over the course of two days. It was definitely the most demanding and time-consuming process I've been through, but I felt really good about my chances and everyone I met seemed very genuine and nice. Unfortunately, I didn't hear back for over a week after my last interview, and all I received was a short, generic email saying they went with another candidate. This response only came after I followed up to ask about the decision timeline. I'm not sure what I expected, but it felt a bit dismissive, especially considering I dedicated nearly 6 hours over the past month to the process.

This is a tough and long interview process, but it gives candidates a really good idea of the program and job they're getting into. You start with interviews with the HR Manager and the department manager (it's a Marketing department). They're both pretty friendly and talk with you for about an hour each. Then you do some tests, and some are take-home. The first part takes about half a day, not counting the take-home work. You send back the take-home tests and wait to see if you advance. The wait can be long; I waited about two weeks for the next round, which was another two weeks later. After that, you meet with five VPs, get a tour, and have lunch with them. You'll know if you got the job within a week.

Starts with a phone interview with the HR director where they ask basic behavioral questions like why Bobrick, what are your strengths, and where you see yourself in five years. The next round is about four hours and includes an in-person 1:1 with the HR director covering the same topics. Then, you meet with past employees in the role to ask questions and learn about the company culture. After that, you take several aptitude and personality tests on-site, followed by more tests to complete at home which takes three to four hours. The final round is a six-hour on-site session with executives and VPs where you interview individually for about 30 minutes each. This final part is more about ensuring you're a good fit and won't be difficult to work with, as they know you're capable at this point.
