Product Support Specialist
I applied for the Product Support Specialist job via a recruiter. Things moved fast initially, and they even asked for a reference early on, which was odd since that usually happens later. Then, the process took weeks with lots of delays and unclear updates. They said I was a top pick, but getting the next step scheduled took over a month. Communication wasn't great, and it took ages to get feedback after my second interview. That interview was super short, like 10-15 minutes, with just a few simple questions. I had detailed examples ready, but it was too rushed to show my skills or excitement. The feedback I got later didn't even line up with how the interview went or the good reference I gave. It felt long, messy, and not very professional. If you interview with them, expect big delays, confusing info, and hardly any chance to show what you can do. Their mission is cool, but the hiring process didn't feel as thoughtful or respectful.
- Could you share some information about yourself and what you enjoy most about working in customer support?
- What aspects of customer support do you find most rewarding?
Account Manager
It was very unprofessional. The job was listed as fully remote, but I went through four interview stages with recruiters, hiring managers, directors, and even executives. After the final interview, I followed up and got an email saying 'let's talk about next steps!' When we got on the call, they told me there were no next steps and they'd decided to give the job to someone who lived closer to the office. They said I would have gotten the offer if not for that. I think this company was just trying to get information or maybe it's a sign of how disorganized they are, which is common for startups that are about to go under.
- What attracts you to this industry?
Marketing Operations Manager
The process was pretty straightforward. It included a recruiter call, a chat with the hiring manager, an interview with their boss, and a final meeting with the CEO. Gabby was great at keeping me informed and setting up all the interviews.
- Were you asked about culture fit?
- Were you asked about how you fit the company culture?
- What questions did they ask about Hubspot?
Product Marketing Manager
Standard process. First, a phone screen, then an interview with the hiring manager, followed by a few interviews with marketing and product team members. The process is a bit slow, with about a week between interviews.
- Can you discuss your background in pricing and packaging?
- Tell me about your experience collaborating with marketing and product teams.
