First, a recruiter called to chat about your background, if you're a good fit, and what you're looking for salary-wise. Then there was a technical screen, which was one round of coding and some core Java stuff. After that, there were 3 more technical rounds where you did coding challenges, talked about Java fundamentals, and discussed system/architecture. Finally, there was an onsite round with the team and hiring manager for behavioral and technical deep dives.

Had one interview that was about 30 to 45 minutes. They mostly asked about the skills mentioned in the job description and gave an idea about the overall work they do to help me better understand the role.

It started with a phone chat with the technical manager about my background and tech skills, focusing on agile. Then I got a take-home assignment with 2 coding problems and 3 tech questions to do in 24 hours. Next was another phone interview, this time a technical screen share. They asked about OOP concepts like virtual functions and polymorphism, and had me code a vector class, linked list node removal, and BST traversal, plus a quick database question. The final round was a 4-hour onsite with 4 sessions. First, a chat with the manager. Then, technical questions with senior engineers, including coding n^m recursively and iteratively (and optimizing it), memory questions, little/big endian conversion, and BST traversal. The third session with newer engineers involved designing and coding a card game with a shuffle method. The last session was with the product owner and architect, where I had to present an engineering design for a Keurig notification system. After that, they discussed benefits, and I was later told I didn't get an offer.
