It was pleasant. Technical questions were asked, then personal questions. You have to talk a bit about yourself and your certificates. Then strengths and weaknesses. They tell you about the position. The goal is to get an impression of the tasks and for you to decide if the position is suitable for you.

I went to a BMW info session at my school where I chatted with a software engineer. I gave him my resume and got a call the next day for an online interview. That same engineer and another person interviewed me. We mostly talked about my experience, what the co-op would involve, and then they offered me the job.

Behavioral Technical

The whole interview thing took about a month. The onsite interview in Spartanburg had multiple parts, all focused on how you'd act in different situations. They also asked regular interview questions and showed you around the plant. You talked to managers from different areas, checking your technical and behavioral abilities. They were really good at keeping you updated and answering your questions. They let me know where I stood about a week after the onsite.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Tell me about situations you've faced and how you handled them.
