I went through a basic competency and application stage. After a 5-month wait with no communication, I was surprisingly invited to a final round interview, having assumed I hadn't been successful.

First, there were some online tests, which included some straightforward games and a general engineering assessment. After that, I had a 30-minute phone call where they inquired about my university studies and delved deeper into my background and engineering experience. Lastly, an on-site assessment centre took place. Here, we were divided into teams to tackle simple group activities, such as constructing a tower using straws and string, and we were also given information about the placement program. The day concluded with a formal, in-person interview that was essentially an extension of the phone interview, focusing on my CV.

After submitting the online application, you'll have a first phone call and then a final in-person interview. The interviews are competency-based. They start with usual questions about you and your resume. They might ask for more details about things you mentioned in your application. They'll also ask about your expectations for the role and your understanding of the responsibilities. The interviewer is usually the manager of the department you applied to.
