I only lasted about 5 minutes in the interview before I walked out. I came as an experienced recruiter with over 16 years experience and never experienced such a confrontive and challenging interview style. I was accused of lying about my experience within the first few minutes, which I wasn't. A first interview should be an opportunity to understand your candidate, delve through their experience, gather information on their skills and abilities and understand their motivators and drivers, which will help identify if they are a candidate who would fit into your business. This style of interview harks back to the bad old days of recruitment and certainly is a business that I would strongly recommend everyone to stay away from.

I went through a recruiter call for the role. The interviewer seemed really tired and didn't engage much. He mentioned that the company has a 'laddish' culture and that there might be inappropriate jokes, which was quite strange.

Behavioral Other

I had an initial phone call with a recruiter which was nice. Then there was an assessment center day which gave me a feel for the role but was too long. The worst part was the final interview where I was asked inappropriate questions like what my parent does for a living. I was shocked and panicked, and my feedback was that they didn't like how I answered. They apparently thought my parent's job was relevant to my ability to be a recruiter.
