Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BMR Health Services.
Speech Language Pathologist
First, there are questions about the company's needs. You are asked how you found out about the company, about your expectations, and if you have any doubts. Then, information about costs and benefits is provided. A video call is conducted via Zoom. Finally, the contract details are sent by email.
- How did you find out about the company?
Occupational Therapist
Had a quick chat with a recruiter, then they set up a phone interview with the contract site for the next week. The site interview itself was short, only about 15 minutes. I ended up asking more questions than they did, and I would have asked even more, but the interviewer seemed rushed and stressed.
- Can you explain how school-based and clinic-based occupational therapy differ?
Speech Language Pathologist
It was a challenging interview process, but the questions were designed to gauge my experience with managing bilingual therapies and assessments. They also wanted to check my ability to conduct evaluations in two languages and my understanding of standardized tests.
- Were you familiar with IEP procedures?
Para Educator
It was not very professional and the interview seemed like it was coordinated last minute. Although I am happy for the opportunity, it could have been a more seamless process overall. It would be in the company's best interest to really tighten up their interview process all around.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience?
